  • Overview of different RDBMS platforms available in the market.
  • Introduction to SQL Server and hands-on experience with SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Practical application of sublanguages such as DDL, DML, and DAL.
  • Creating tables, defining data types, and establishing constraints.
  • Executing Insert, Delete, and Update statements.
  • Utilising Select queries and their associated operators.
  • Working with Null, Not Null, logical operators (And, Or), keywords like Between, Exists, Order by, Group by, and Having clause.
  • Exploring built-in functions, including mathematical, string, and datetime functions.
  • Working with views and understanding their role in data access.
  • Mastering joins, including join types and retrieving data from multiple tables.
  • Understanding subqueries, including correlated subqueries, and the distinctions between subqueries and joins.
  • Introduction to Common Table Expressions (CTEs) and their application in recursive queries.
