- Cloud adoption models and the associated trade-offs across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, including shared responsibility models.
- Key components of Azure architecture, such as Regions, Resource Groups, and individual Resources.
- Designing mission-critical architectures and understanding disaster recovery targets, specifically RTO and RPO.
Part II: Core Cloud Services
- Storage and data foundations, covering Azure Table Storage and Azure Cosmos DB.
- Compute and container platforms, specifically Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Registry (ACR).
- Relational data management and messaging services, including Azure SQL Database and Azure Service Bus.
- Practical exercises for each service, focusing on configuration, deployment, and evaluation against criteria like availability, performance, security, and cost.
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code using Bicep to ensure reproducible environments.
Day 2: Architecture Leadership and Clean Architecture

Part V: DDD, CQRS, and Event Sourcing
- Fundamentals of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), including domain boundaries, ubiquitous language, and model-driven design.
- Concepts of CQRS and Event Sourcing, applied to complex and evolving business domains.
- Architectural patterns commonly employed in DDD-based cloud solutions.
- Practical lab: Apply Event Sourcing as a requirement-driven design technique, mapping requirements to events, aggregates, and event flows.
Part VI: Microservices
- Principles of microservices architecture and the trade-offs inherent in distributed systems.
- Evaluating the advantages and disadvantages of specific cloud services for microservices-based solutions.
- Synchronous and asynchronous communication styles in microservices, incorporating reliability patterns like circuit breakers and resiliency strategies.
- Ensuring testability in microservices through CI/CD practices, including contract testing, defining integration testing boundaries, automated quality gates, and deployment confidence.

Requirements
- Proficiency in an advanced programming language, such as C# or Java.
