This practical, hands-on course introduces participants to AI agents within Microsoft 365 Copilot and demonstrates how they can construct their own simple agents without any coding or additional tools.

Participants will explore pre-built Microsoft agents such as Researcher and Analyst, gain an understanding of how AI agents function in a business setting, and learn how to design and deploy their own agents using structured prompts and workflows in Copilot.

The course emphasises real-world scenarios, empowering participants to automate routine tasks, enhance productivity, and create reusable AI assistants that can be easily shared across teams.

By the end of the session, participants will have built their own AI agent and will be able to apply this approach in their daily work.

This course is tailored for finance professionals who are already acquainted with AI tools and wish to transition from sporadic usage to confident, routine application of Microsoft Copilot. Participants will refine their prompting techniques and apply Copilot directly to practical financial tasks such as data reconciliation, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. The session is highly interactive, revolving around live exercises utilizing realistic finance datasets. Each exercise accommodates two parallel workflows: one for Copilot Chat (Basic, included with Microsoft 365) and another for Microsoft 365 Copilot (Premium, requires a paid license), ensuring every participant works with the license they currently possess.
